Each painting starts as a blank canvas. Form is slowly added as color is picked and carefully placed onto the canvas with expression and realism. With each stroke, the painting is brought out “from the dark” slowly, until the work is finished and renders the subject, not only accurately, but capturing the spirit and the emotion of the subject.
